Technical Information CI Press 1406

 

Type of press:            4 + 2 colour printing press with 4 flexo printers on servo drive central
                                    impression.

Drive:                          Close loop servo motion control on all impression cylinders

Print control:             No manual adjustment for impression. Print stations are servo controlled with separate hand held control. Registration and side alignments provided for fine manual adjustment (maximum range of 10 mm.).
 
Input control:             LCD touch screen for size change and calibration/control of print stations.

Ink pump control:     The 1406 CI press features automatic pump control. Pumps will be deactivated when print modules or entire press are shut down.

 

Max. web speed:        300 m/min for normal operation.
Print width:               400 mm. max
Print length:               188 mm. minimum
                                    455 mm. maximum
Print stations:            Print stations fitted with doctor blade systems. Print cylinders are sleeves.
                                    Included are Graymills ink pumps (stainless steel-6 off)

Additional equipment:

  • Inter-station drying/extraction system (Waverley)
  • Web inspection camera (BST Pro-Mark)

 

Remarks:

This printing press can be placed in-line with any web-fed equipment (envelope making machines, packaging machines etc.) or supplied with complete unwind/rewind unit to print reel to reel. Suitable for printing on flexible packaging material film (PVC, PE) and (coated) paper (- 120 g/m2)
